no, I'm not going to upload Rufus' new song now...it's a good idea though (just kidding) no, I just recently recommended the "Cowboy Bebop" soundtracks to someone and in process got all hooked up again. I just feel like rambling about my favorites of those soundtracks.

first of all mai yamane's voice is awesome! and she can speak english too! XD yes, it's true. (don't get me wrong, I'd never complain about the awesomeness that is the japanese "engrish" but, you know...sometimes...) so more or less, I love all the songs she's singing for CB.

if i remember correctly it's the song that's played at the end of the last episode. i'm not going to spoil here, just saying it somehow changes the whole mood of it. it's TEH awesome!!! and i have a video where she sings it live and OMG i love it!!*______*

I just got a chance to listen to that one recently...it's beautiful! OoO I don't really know who sings it though. it's one of those "what is the sense in life" songs (kinda), it's calm and lovely!! yes, lovely! *nodnod* ...and sad! (XD)

i'm afraid it's a jdorama ending song AGAIN! XD fear me
this time it's "Love Land Island" by Yamashita Tatsuro and "Long Love Letter"'s ending song...

the point is this XD i don't really like this song...but dunno, it's so WEIRD as the ending song to that dorama, that i end up loving it am i making any sense? you know, the title "loveland island" fits XD really it does...but it's so weird XDDDD and it reminds me of something...*cannot remember*

anyway, the dorama is pretty weird itself. it begins as your average dorama, with a teacher, his missed chance concerning his love life (or whatever you wanna call it) and his students...and then it takes a turn into the sci-fi direction...

SPOILER for 1st epi:
there's an earthquake and the whole school - including some studens and teachers - disappears, leaving nothing but a huge hole behind.
the studens and teachers find themselves surrounded by nothing but rocks and sand... o.O

i've only watched two episodes, but it's kinda intriguing XD or maybe i'm just weird...i like things like that anyway. go watch it XD the teacher is sooooo CUTE and there's yamapi in it too

the first one is a solo piece with beautiful lyrics (imo)! *g* i think it's amazing it uses such a - well kinda - complicated way, to express such a - well kinda - simple thing. *le sigh*
